MLSA pact signed between India and Japan
Two days ago a Military dafence logistic agreement has signed between India and Japan. The pact was signed by Indian defence secretary, Ajay Kumar and Japanese ambassador Suzuki Satoshi. Indian PM Narendra Modi and Japanese PM Shinzo Abe had a telephonic conversation on this agreement . The two leaders have enhanced the depth of the defence collaboration between two nations . Through this landmark agreement both countries will allow to access each other military bases for logistic support. Between India - China clash , this deal will help India to counter the China in South China sea. Diplomatically it is very important near both countries. In June a similar deal (Mutual logistic support agreement - MLSA) was signed between India and Australia. India has already similar agreements with USA ,FRANCE AND SINGAPORE. Here we are seeing that, India has signed mutual logistic support agreement with all quad members ( India-USA-Australia-Japan ) and this deals will make quad group more stronger. Through this deals India has got advantages diplomatically and of the sites of Military.
In future India could signed the similar deals with Russia , Vietnam, UK.
